Spider-Man is one of the most popular and recognizable superheroes ever created, and films featuring the character helped kickstart the superhero movie boom. With a new release on the horizon, here’s how to stream all of the Spider-Man movies.
Before superhero movies were the biggest things at the box office, director Sam Raimi brought Spider-Man to life with this origin story starring Tobey Maguire. Maguire’s Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider, gains superpowers, loses his Uncle Ben, and decides to fight crime. He romances his childhood friend Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and takes on the evil Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) while figuring out his newfound abilities.
Often cited as the greatest superhero movie ever made, the second movie in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy brings back Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson for a rousing adventure. This time, Peter faces off against mad scientist Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina), while also witnessing the villainous turn of his friend Harry Osborn (James Franco), son of the late Green Goblin himself.

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy comes to a close with this somewhat overstuffed film, which finds Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker taking a dark turn. He fights villains on multiple fronts, including the small-time criminal who becomes the Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), a professional rival who bonds with an alien symbiote to form Venom (Topher Grace), and his old pal Harry Osborn (James Franco), who becomes the new Green Goblin.
The Amazing Spider-Man
Spider-Man’s saga is rebooted courtesy of director Marc Webb and new star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, alongside Emma Stone as his love interest Gwen Stacy. The Amazing Spider-Man retells Peter’s superhero origin story and pits him against a maniacal scientist who becomes the villain known as the Lizard (Rhys Ifans). It all connects back to the mysterious disappearance of Peter’s parents, who left him in the care of his aunt and uncle.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Director Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return for this sequel, which was meant to set up an extended Spider-Man cinematic universe. Consequently, it’s full of villains and future villains, led by Jamie Foxx as the electricity-powered Electro. There’s also Dane DeHaan as Peter Parker’s friend Harry Osborn, who becomes the Green Goblin, plus Paul Giamatti as the Rhino, all heading toward a supervillain team-up.
Peter Parker gets rebooted again as he joins his fellow superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where his mentor is Iron Man himself, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Tom Holland stars as Peter, who is back in high school but has already experienced his now-familiar origin story. Peter faces disgruntled salvage company owner Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton), who outfits himself with stolen technology to become the Vulture.
Spider-Man: Far From Home
Peter Parker’s second Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure takes him and his classmates on a trip to Europe, where they process their feelings following the “blip,” the MCU event that erased and then returned half of the universe’s population. Tom Holland’s Peter also struggles to declare his feelings for his classmate MJ (Zendaya), while battling against illusion-creating villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).
